Evangelist Walter P. Baucom
Evangelist Walter
Baucom is a Southern Baptist pastor and
evangelist serving his Lord now for 49
years. He has pastured seven Baptist
churches in Kentucky, Tennessee and South
Carolina. He has produced and
broadcast the Showers of Blessing radio
program through out the south east since
1969. The program can now be heard on
the internet world wide.

Walter
Baucom was born in Alhambra, California, on
October 10, 1935. He and his
wife, Faye, have two daughters, Karla and
Teresa. Walter resides in Mauldin,
South Carolina USA.
He
accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of
twenty one, and the call into the ministry
the following year, and was ordained twelve
years later. He is from humble
beginnings and the son of Herschel Baucom
who worked on the Manhattan Project during
WW 2 at Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Walter
was educated and worked in the mechanical
engineering/piping industry and a earned BA
degree in Pastoral Ministry. He
is a Disabled U.S. Naval Veteran having served
during the Korean War.
Walter
is the author of the Royal-Gram Bible
Outlines for pastors and teachers published
monthly with over 300 outlines
yearly. he has produced
numerous Biblical audio and video teaching
lesson materials.
Walter is now retired having suffered
with prostate cancer since 1995. His
wife, Faye, also has suffered with breast
and Hodgkin's cancer since 1995.
Walter still accepts calls to pulpit supply
and doctrinal revivals.
Walter and Faye attend the Reedy
Fork Baptist Church in Greenville, South
Carolina.
His crusades have centered around the basic
cardinal doctrines of scripture to move the
church beyond the principles and on to
perfection. Record-setting
attendances has resulted in every place he
has preached. He has been called deep
and boundless in pulpit energy and his
unlimited enthusiasm. His attack on
error and sin is balanced by his love for
the church.
