Walter Baucom was born in Alhambra, California, on October 10, 1935.   He and his wife, Faye, have two daughters, Karla and Teresa.  Walter resides in Mauldin, South Carolina USA.

He accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of  twenty one, and the call into the ministry the following year, and was ordained twelve years later.  He is from humble beginnings and the son of Herschel Baucom who worked on the Manhattan Project during WW 2 at Oak Ridge, Tennessee.  Walter was educated and worked in the mechanical engineering/piping industry and a earned BA degree in Pastoral Ministry.  He is a Disabled U.S. Naval Veteran having served during the Korean War.

Walter is the author of the Royal-Gram Bible Outlines for pastors and teachers published monthly with over 300 outlines yearly.  he  has produced numerous Biblical audio and video teaching lesson materials.

Walter  is now retired having suffered with prostate cancer since 1995.  His wife, Faye, also has suffered with breast and Hodgkin's cancer since 1995.  Walter still accepts calls to pulpit supply and doctrinal revivals.
Walter and Faye attend the Reedy Fork Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina.

His crusades have centered around the basic cardinal doctrines of scripture to move the church beyond the principles and on to perfection.  Record-setting attendances has resulted in every place he has preached.  He has been called deep and boundless in pulpit energy and his unlimited enthusiasm.  His attack on error and sin is balanced by his love for the church.
